The Perfect Collie

Above is a composite head study of the perfect Collie as approved by the Collie Club of America and drawn by Lorraine Still for the "Illustrated Collie".

It would be wonderful if we could breed the perfect collie but, alas, we are mere mortals and we have to try harder with the help of the leprechauns and the "little people", of Irish folk-lore to come as close to the perfect collie as possible.

Keeping the perfect picture in front of us at all times keeps us from straying off the perfect path into the fads of the day.

Breeding Collies is a continuous battle to try and attain that "Perfect Collie". This is why we need everyone's help, especially the leprechauns and the "little people".
